As we continue to study through the Book of Daniel we come to the first half of Daniel 9 when Daniel is in fervent prayer before the Lord for the sake of his people, his nation and the ultimate plans and purposes of God on the earth. In Daniel 9:1-19 we learn a lot from Daniel about prayer, about intercession for Gods people, about trusting God when it looks like his plans have failed when we look by sight rather than faith.
