5.16.21 - Daniel 11

As our study in Daniel winds down we come to chapter 11 and see the details of the last vision Daniel records for us. This section of scripture is difficult and takes some work both with the text itself and understanding some history... but as we look for application beyond the fulfillment of the prophecies themselves we see something profound about God and history.

The history in the Bible is not primarily concerned with the sensational events that history textbooks love to cover... God is far more concerned about how the circumstances of world events will effect his covenant people.

This text tells the tale of three kings who have a great impact on the lives of Gods people during their reign.
