It is Palm Sunday and we are launching our Easter Series: THE LAMB OF GOD.
On Palm Sunday we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus in Jerusalem the week of his death so many years ago. It is a familiar story, and as such, sometimes we can take it for granted and fail to recognize the monumental significance of this moment.
Why were the people shouting “hosanna”? Why did they wave palm branches and lay down their cloaks? Why did Jesus come in on a donkey? All these small details help paint a beautiful picture of this cosmically significant moment in history.
