This morning as we continue to work our way through the Olivet Discourse in Marks gospel we come to some difficult language to understand in the context we have been studying. If this is truly about the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem and the end of the old covenant age how are we to understand Jesus coming on the clouds and the sun, moon and stars falling from the heavens? Once again I believe we will see, first century Jews would have understood the language Jesus was using that confuses and baffles us 2000 years later...
