02.06.22 - Origins of God's World

: As we continue to work our way through the first eleven chapters of Genesis in our study “The Origins of God’s World” we come to the genealogy of Adam through Seth in Genesis 5. Often when we are studying God’s word or simply reading our devotions we skip over and skim through genealogies. If however, all of scripture is profitable for teaching and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16), then there is something for us if we are willing to dig a little deeper.

So let’s dig in to this list of names, ages and lineage in order to hear what god might be teaching us in this often overlooked chapter.
