Rising The Kingdom

2016-11-20 by Sandor Kotzeff

"The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough." (v.33)

Matthew 13: 31-35

Are you ever afflicted with anxiety and heartache for the lost? Are you ever frustrated by the hardness of heart the unbelieving world displays when rejecting Jesus' authority? It is by adoration and commandment of our King Jesus that we proclaim his gospel to the world, but also out of compassion for the lost that we urge others to take refuge with us under Christ.

It may seem at times that through our eyes of flesh the Kingdom of God is not expanding. But beloved I assure you that it is! Like yeast rolled into a mound of dough, the Kingdom of God moves subtly throughout the world, and at first glance it would seem that the most insignificant amounts of addage do nothing to further our Kingdom, but then we marvel as the entire loaf rises in fullness and perfection. What a God we have that he could do such perfect work through imperfect people, and produce such majesty from something as small as a mustard seed to build into the greatest throne in all the Universe!

Let me encourage you, disciple. If you have in your heart faith as thin as a thread from a spider, it will bind the evil one so he may never reap gains from you again. The smallest acts of faith can be magnified by God to create unimaginable expansion for His Kingdom. Don't ever think that anything you do for the good of God's Kingdom is insignificant. Because just like the seed that falls on good soil and yields a hundred fold other good crops, the smallest act in faith can sow a seed anywhere God wills it to grow. The fullness of God's Kingdom is imminent, and it is growing. God faithfully promises it, and as Christians we faithfully anticipate it.

King Jesus, I trust in your promise to bring your kingdom to the entire world. I await the day that every knee will bow to you and I pray that you will make me a functioning utensil of your Church body. Let not my flesh be a hindrance to your kingdom's growth, Father but let your Holy Spirit fill my heart and send me into the world with boldness and zeal for you. Let my hands be your hands and my lips be your lips so i may speak your glory and do your work. May your Kingdom come and your will be done, on Earth as it is in your Heavenly realm. I pray this for Jesus sake. Amen
